Begin using the nose mold for 24 hours starting on the day stitches are removed. Remove it only for bathing or cleaning the nose, then replace it immediately.
Increased nasal secretions are normal when wearing the nose mold. Clean it with cold water as needed.
Punch holes in the breathable paper glue to the appropriate length.
Apply Vaseline to the nose mold. The nasal membrane narrows toward the tip of the nose and widens toward the lips. Push it in gently, starting with the affected side, then the healthy side. Secure the hole-punched breathable paper glue to the nostrils on both sides.
Start nose massage on the day stitches are removed.
Avoid wearing glasses during this period.
Lip scar care starts on the day stitches are removed.
Apply breathable paper glue as a pouting patch during the day to limit upper lip tissue movement and prevent scars from widening.
Apply silicone film flat at night. Clean it with cold water and reuse until dry or damaged.
You can eat normally while applying the pouting patch.
